The RolaPlank is part of our line-up for curtains suitable for load securing. Developed to prevent the curtain from bulging when bulk-loaded, ensuring that the maximum permissible width of the semi-trailer is not exceeded. The internally welded pockets contain aluminum planks that, in combination with specially chosen rollers, buckles, hooks and support bands, can meet the highest standards.

Aluminum planks reinforcements
The side curtain consists of PVC 900 gr/m2 with fitted aluminum planks. The side curtain can still be easily opened from the side and contain no loose parts. This increases the speed of (un)loading.
RolaPlank satisfies the prescribed standards concerning load safety. In combination with a special selection of rollers, buckles, hooks and support bands, the most stringent specifications can be met. Thus, also for intermodal transport. This model comes as standard with a network of both horizontal and vertical welded 2400 daN webbing. The full structure of the RolaPlank is built to protect cargo from bulging.
Since the entire side curtain is to be very tightly stretched, it is an excellent surface to which advertising can be applied. With InfiniShield we bring together a full range of digital printing technologies on PVC material combined with multiple protective.
No loose components or horizontal planks
The curtain is fitted with integrated vertical aluminum planks and has become a vital part in the total vehicle construction, suitable for load securing. In fact, throughout the entire vehicle there are no loose components. This has several advantages:
- It neutralises the risk of the driver not being able to load due to the lack of horizontal planks;
- XL Certificate is always valid (no parts are missing);
- No accidents can happen with the removal of planks from height;
- Not having to remove and reinstall the horizontal planks will increase efficiency by 20-40 minutes per stop!

Certified upper structure strength according to Code XL EN 12642
To secure the cargo to be transported on the loading floor without additional load securing measures, the upper structure strength must be increased. For trailers with an upper structure according to Code XL EN 12642, the upper structure can be used for load securing applications - only when the vehicle is loaded form-fitted. The upper structure absorbs the dynamic forces occurring during transport. This means: No additional load securing elements are required for form-fitting cargo.
The RolaPlank side curtain is Code XL EN 12641-2 certified when used in a Code XL trailer and when 24> buckles are fitted. The side curtains are considered as a vital part of the total upper structure.

Care & Maintenance
It may happen that due to theft, storm or an accident your tarpaulin is damaged. Roland will help you quickly repair small damages. With our strong network in the region, we are able to help our customers out when needed. We strongly advice to not wait with any damages occurred to prevent it from ripping out.
To keep you side curtain in its best condition, curtainsider trailers should be cleaned using hot soapy water preferably with a hose and soft brush. The use of a high pressure water is NOT recommended as this can affect the lacquer coating on the PVC exposing the pores to the elements. This is especially important if you have invested in having your curtain sign written and clear coated.
